Abba Kyari: ‘Police Officer During The Day, Criminal At Night’

Popular Nigerian singer, Eedris Abdulkareem, has reacted to the arrest of the former head of the Intelligence Response Team, Abba Kyari over alleged drug trafficking.

The veteran musician claimed that it is a life of pretence for Kyari to be a police officer during the day, while a criminal at night.

This is coming after the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) released a video of Kyari trying to bribe an NDLEA agent to back up its allegation.

The Nigeria Police Force shortly after the video was released arrested Kyari and handed him over to NDLEA for further investigation.

Abdulkareem in a post on her Instagram account further stated that he would not believe Kyari’s arrest until he sees pictures of him in handcuffs.

He wrote, “Supercop in the morning, criminal moonlighting at night. A life of layered pretence and lies.

“When will the pictures of Abba Kyari in handcuffs surface the internet. Until I see that picture I won’t believe any news of his arrest.”
