Governor Udom Reveals Reason Witches And Wizards Dragged Him To Court

The governor of Akwa Ibom, Emmanuel Udom has revealed how the witches and wizards in his state dragged him to court.

The governor said he was dragged to court for building a Christian worship center in the state.

He stated this while speaking to newsmen over the weekend in Uyo.

He said: “All (the) witches and wizards came together and took me to the court that we are building a Christian Worship Center.

“They say they are atheists. The case is in the court, we won them but they have appealed.

The politician also spoke on his successor being chosen by God.

“Communication between a leader and God is different from what any other person would see or understand, people must understand that,” he said. 

Meanwhile, the professorship of the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami has been declared by the Academic Staff Union of Universities as illegal.

The decision was reached by the National Executive Council at a meeting held on Sunday night, while the President of ASUU, Emmanuel Osodeke, announced it at a press conference on Monday.

He said, “You cannot be a minister and a lecturer in a university. It is an encouragement of illegality”. Read more
