Shehu Sani Reacts As Tinubu Meets UAE Leadership Over Visa Ban, Others

Former Senator representing Kaduna Central in the National Assembly, Shehu Sani has commended the Nigerian military for foiling a terrorist attack on the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna State.

Naija News learned that the terrorists, who were planning to attack the permanent site of the defence academy on Thursday, rode on about 50 motorcycles towards the facility.

It was gathered that 20 of the bandit terrorists were killed after the military deployed two Nigerian Air Force (NAF) helicopter gunships to engage the criminals.

Reacting to the news on his Twitter handle on Saturday, Sani appreciated the military for killing the terrorists, adding that the criminals are becoming more daring.

The chieftain of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lamented that Kaduna is now becoming dangerous, calling on the federal government to come to the rescue of the people of the state.

He wrote: “It’s commendable to receive the news that the military exterminated the terrorists advancing towards the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna; But it also demonstrated how daring the criminals are becoming and the danger we are currently facing in our city. Vigilance is the key.”

Recall that on 24 August 2021, gunmen suspected to be bandit terrorists attacked the same military facility and killed two officers.

The bandits, who disguised in military uniform to gain access into the security gates of the NDA, killed a Major and a Squadron Leader and later on abducted one officer, who was later released.
