VIDEO: Suspected Kidnappers Nabbed By Security Operatives

A group of suspected kidnappers have been arrested by the Oyo Police operatives on Tuesday along Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

According to reports, the suspected kidnappers were arrested at Oni Garri Axis along Ibadan expressway.

They were also reportedly from Niger, Kano and Sokoto.

It is understand that the group of suspected kidnappers was apprehended with a variety of weaponry, including locally made firearms and ammo, machetes, knives, and other hazardous weapons.

The suspects were paraded and have been taken in for additional investigation and prosecution, according to a close source.

Meanwhile, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has handed over a trafficked teenager, Pamela Ibe to the Nigerian police.

Olabisi Atanda, the NSCDC Public Relations Officer for Osun Command, said Ibe was found roaming aimlessly on the streets of Ejigbo, Osun when she was rescued.

Atanda stated that the victim was reportedly charmed by one Samuel from Benin Republic.

She said that the suspect had told the teenager he would take her to Lagos to learn hairdressing, Pamela told him to allow her tell her parents before embarking on the journey but he put a charmed bracelet on her wrist and she became unconscious.

She said: “According to Pamela, one Samuel from Cotonou, who is the suspect in the case came to Enugu for Plaster of Paris business(POP). The suspect visited the house of Pamela’s parents in Enugu and promised to take her to Lagos for hairdressing training.

“Pamela thereafter asked Samuel to allow her inform her parents. But before she knew what was happening, Samuel had forcefully put a charmed bangle on her wrist.”
