Police Stop Former Presidential Candidate, Fearlessly Beg For Money

Former presidential candidate Remi Sonaiya has expressed her disappointment over the action of some operatives of the Nigerian Police Force.

Sonaiya who was the flagbearer of KOWA party in the 2015 presidential election, revealed via a tweet that she was pulled over and asked for money to buy food.

She wrote: ”Just got pulled over at a police check point: “Ah, we just want to collect food money from our mummy.” Where do you even begin from in order to address this total lack of professionalism and self-respect? @PoliceNG”

Meanwhile, a high court sitting in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area, Anambra State, has adjourned to 23rd, 24th February and 8th March, 2022, for continued hearing in a suit filed by one Evangelist Benjamin Ubakaeze and his wife, Felicia against their landlords Registered Trustees of Diocese on the Niger and Rev. Tochukwu Okwuchukwu.

Ubakaeze and his wife are tenants of the Diocese on the Niger, owned by Iyi-Enu Mission Hospital, Ogidi, Idemili where they own a provision store and eatery since 2014.
