Nollywood actor, Kanayo O Kanayo has advised parents to visit their wards at school after paying his son a surprise visit.

According to the veteran actor, children leave school to unimaginable places, making their parents believe they are in school whereas they are out of school doing something else.

He recounted his times at law school and how a classmate left school in year two and was still collecting money for school fees from his parents.

He added that paying unscheduled visits makes a parent avoid stories that would make them age under 48 hours.

Sharing the video, he wrote; Do you know many of our children leave school to go to unimaginable places? His or her school maybe in Ekiti State, but is in Lekki Lagos State every weekend grooving. Please pay them unscheduled visits to avoid stories that may make you age under 48 hours.”

Naija News recalls that Kanayo O. Kanayo recently urged the public to disregard the sex for role claims in Nollywood.

Speaking on the issue in his Instagram page in Wednesday, Kanayo asked the public not to believe what they were being told concerning the issue of sex for roles.

According to the actor, many up-and-coming actresses do not work hard and professionally to act out their script as expected; a situation he described as shameful.

Sharing a picture of a movie set on his page, the veteran said, “When you hear of sex for roles in Nollywood, please do not believe all you are told. Many of the girls are not working hard to live up to the roles they are cast for. Quite a shame.”
