Zidane To Get Ronaldo Play Alongside Messi, Neymar At PSG

Manchester United player, Cristiano Ronaldo may join Paris Saint-Germain soon.

Former French footballer and coach, Zinedine Zidane is reportedly hoping he could get the Portugal captain to join him at the Le Parc Des Princess when he eventually joined the Ligue 1 giant.

Naija News understands Zidane is close to landing the managerial position at PSG.

Daily Mirror reports that the former Real Madrid boss has hinted that if the deal works out next summer, his first request would be to bring Ronaldo to PSG.

It was said further that Ronaldo also wants a chance to play alongside his long time rival Lionel Messi and Neymar.

PSG current manager, Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with a move to Manchester United to replace Ralf Ragnick at the end of the season while Zidane is hopeful of taking the place of Pochettino at the Ligue 1 club.

Naija News understands that Ronaldo and Zidane had both enjoyed good times together before now and are eager to maintain the great relationship they has at Madrid.

It could be recalled that PSG made an attempt in the past to sign Ronaldo, but failed to convince the Portugal captain to move to France.

Meanwhile, the death has been reported of a 21-year-old footballer, Alexandros Lampis who slumped and died during a football match in Greek.

It was gathered that the 21-year-old player, who played for Ilioupoli in the third tier of Greek football suffered a cardiac arrest during the match between his team and Ermionida.

Lampis, an attacking midfielder slumped just five minutes into the game at the First Municipal Stadium in a south-eastern suburb of Athens on Wednesday.

Unfortunately, there was no defibrillator or ambulance at the stadium when the incident happened.
