How Did Lawan Return To Senate After Jostling For APC Presidential Ticket? Okorocha Asks

A video of Senator Rochas Okorocha reciting a verse from the Qur’an, seeking the support of Nigerians to elect him President has surfaced.

Naija News recalls that Okorocha had declared his intention to contest the 2023 presidency under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in a letter addressed to the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan.

While declaring his presidential aspiration, Okorocha said he is a candidate for justice, according to Allah’s command in Surah An-Nahl 16:90.

Surah An-Nahl 16:90 reads: “Surely Allah enjoins justice, kindness and the doing of good to kith and kin,”

However, the recitation of the verse drew criticism from the public, who said that the eyes of Nigerians were wide open and would no longer be deceived.
