BREAKING: Seven Worshippers Killed As Bandits Attack Kaduna Mosque

Bandit terrorists have invaded the palace of the traditional ruler of Ambarura in the Illela Local Government Area of Sokoto State and kidnapped scores during the attack.

It was learned that the terrorists attacked the palace on Tuesday night and abducted a mother, her two children and servants of the traditional ruler.

Confirming the attack, a lawmaker in Illela parliament, Bello Isa Ambarura, said the attackers invaded the village head residence without fear and repercussion.

Ambarura disclosed that the minors kidnapped by the terrorists are aged 12 and 13.

The lawmaker lamented that the village has been facing attacks from bandits for a long time, adding that the situation is getting worse despite the deployment of security forces in the area.

He said, “We have been facing these problems for a long time, especially in the east of Sokoto, for example, towns like Gwadabawa, Raba, Wurno, Isa, Sabon Birni and others, because they are all on the border.

“The security agencies are trying their best but the situation is getting worse, despite the deployment of security forces in the area to make sure that the right thing is done.”

In other news, high-profile terrorist leaders and fighters have been killed in an aerial operation by the Nigerian Air Force in Kastina State.

It was gathered that the NAF hit camps in Ilela village, led by bandit commanders, Gwaska Dankarami and Abdulkarami, with both of them dead.

The terrorist leaders recently invaded communities around Safana and Dan Musa Local Government areas.

The terrorists in the attack killed at least a dozen in the Illela massacre, while many others were injured.

The attack saw Operation Hadarin Daji deploy an Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) platform.

Footage exposed scores of insurgents around hills 1.5 kilometres south of Ilela and Rubu villages.
