2023: Peter Okoye, Mr. P Reveals Phrase That 'Upsets' APC, PDP Supporters

Nigerian singer Peter Okoye has clashed with a fan who called him out for comparing Nigeria to Dubai.

This came after the singer and father of two took to the microblogging platform Twitter to urged the public to vote wisely in the next elections while visiting Dubai.

According to the singer, he is always angry whenever he visits Dubai, due to how ahead they are in infrastructure and basic amenities despite getting their independence the same year as our government.

He added that the Nigerian Government have denied her citizens many good things of life, calling on the people to vote wisely in the 2023 general election.

He wrote: “Anytime I just enter Dubia. Instead of me to enjoy I go just dey vex for our country with anger! Abeg no bi dsame 1960 we get independence?… God why? Why our government just dey deny us all of the good things for this life? Make we try get sense for 2023 General election.”

Reacting to the post, a fan while scolding Peter Okoye for comparing Nigerian and Dubai, questioned what he has done with his money to develop Nigeria because he and other wealthy people could change the country.

Peter Okoye replied the fan saying that politics and wealth are two different things, noting that a rich man can only help some people.
