Mane Disappoints Burkina Faso, Sends Senegal To AFCON 2021 Final

Liverpool player, Sadio Mane on Wednesday night ended Burkina Faso’s hope of winning the 2021 African Cup of Nations, AFCON with a brilliant touch to seal a 3-1 win.

Naija News understands that an expensive mistake by Burkina Faso midfielders allowed Senegal to launch a counter.

Mane was there to race through a one-on-one drive, drawing Burkina Faso’s keeper and then dinking the ball over him to win the match.

The Wednesday night victory sent Senegal into the Africa Cup of Nations final for the third time in their history and their second in two tournaments.

Abdou Diallo had put Senegal in the lead with his 70th minutes’ goal, followed by a second goal from Idrissa Gueye in the 76th minute.

Burkina Faso was full of hope towards the end of the game after winning a goal in the 82nd minute through Blati Toure.

Mane, however, disappointe the zealous Burkina babes with his dinking goal in the 87th minute.

Egypt player, Mohamed Salah would be on the pitch tomorrow in the other semi-final against Cameroon to earn the possibility of facing his Liverpool teammate in the AFCON 2021 final.

The big question is, will the hosts, Cameroon give Mo Salah the chance?
