Police Arrest Spiritualist For Prayers And Charms Given To Bandits In Katsina

The Katsina State Police Command has apprehended a 50-year-old spiritualist, Abdullahi Bello for offering prayers and charms to bandits in Katsina Metropolis.

Bello who is an indigene of Kandamau village in the Niger Republic was alleged to have been involved in the kidnap of Ammar Abdulkadir by seven gunmen in his home in Kaduna on January 12, 2022.

During preliminary investigation by the police, the bandits revealed that they conspired with one Ibrahim alias “NAMADI” and other terrorists whose hideout was in Dumburum forest.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Isah Gambo paraded the suspect alongside four of the terrorists involved in Ammar’s attack.

Among the terrorists arrested include Yusuf Usman 27, of Bayan Gidan Lema Jibrin, Katsina, Kabir Bello 20, Yammawa Quarters Katsina, Sani Musa 31, of Tudun Baras Quarters Katsina, Salisu Ya’u, alias “MAI-RAFANAI” 37, of Kwarare village, Jibia.”

In other news, a suspected ritualist, Timothy Odeniyi, who was apprehended by the Amotekun corps in Ondo State for being in possession of human parts has said that he was promised N30m if he could deliver to a buyer in Lagos.

The suspect was apprehended last Sunday while conveying the human parts to Lagos.

The state Amotekun commander, Chief Adetunji Adeleye stated that the suspect killed the victim, harvested the body parts and buried the corpse. However, the suspect stated that exhumed the corpse from a grave and removed the body parts. Read more
