Naija News understands that the Guinean footballer left Barcelona for Leipzig last year after controversially deciding not to extend his contract at Camp Nou, which was due to expire this summer.

Moriba left Barcelona for Leipzig for an initial 16 million euros last year and has played only twice in the Bundesliga this season.

Valencia is hopeful that the teenager’s arrival can help their pursuit of qualifying for Europe this season.

Meanwhile, Ghana national football team, Black Stars have been admonished to shun their 2022 World Cup qualifying playoff against Nigeria.

Naija News reports that the advisory was given by a member of the Ghanaian parliament, Patrick Boamah, who acknowledged that the Super Eagles are better off to participate in the world football competition than the Black Stars.

Ghana has a date with Nigeria in March in a two-legged playoff that would determine who makes it to the Qatar 2022 world cup.

However, Boamah is admonishing his home country to not waste their time playing against Nigeria.

Naija News understands that the lawmaker’s advisory is coming after Ghana failed to make it in the group stage of the ongoing African Cup of Nationa, AFCON 2021 tournament.

The Black Stars performed poorly in Cameroon, crashing out of the tournament without winning a single game in the group state.
