NGX: Investors Record N30bn Loss In One Day Trading

The capital market trading session on Tuesday closed with a slight depletion which saw the market end with ₦24.746 trillion, compared to Monday’s ₦24.749 trillion.

The Index also fell to 45,924 points, having shed 4.27 basis points during trading on tuesday, unlike Monday that had 45,928.27 points.

The Tuesday market had 196.26 million shares trading ₦2.41 billion in 3,739 deals, in contrast to Monday’s 278.60 million shares exchanged in 4,447 deals worth ₦2.88 billion.

Courtville heads the top five gainers after trading, thereby ending the day with 10 percent gain in its share, which rose to ₦0.55kobo per share from ₦0.50kobo.

Ecobank share increased in value, gaining ₦0.90kobo to end trading with ₦9.95kobo from ₦9.05 per share.

Academy share was up 9.72 percent to move from ₦0.72kobo to ₦0.79kobo per share.

Champion gained ₦0.19kobo to move from ₦2.36kobo to ₦2.55kobo per share.

Regal Insurance was up by 5.26 percent as the share ended trading with ₦0.40kobo from ₦0.38kobo per share.

On the chart of the losers, C&I Leasing topped after losing ₦0.42kobo from its share which declined from ₦4.20kobo to ₦3.78kobo per share.
