Meanwhile, Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has vowed not to allow criminal herdsmen to infest his state.
This is as the South West Governors’ Forum chairman reiterated his commitment to protecting the life of the citizens.
Naija News reports that Akeredolu’s statement was coming following the incessant killings and kidnapping of citizens of the state by suspected herdsmen in the Northern senatorial district within the last one month.
Receiving the representatives of Auga Community, led by their traditional ruler, the Alauga of Auga-Akoko, Oba Samuel Agunloye, in his office, Akeredolu vowed to bring to justice the killer herdsmen terrorising some communities.
Akeredolu lamented the continuous attack on farmers and their farmlands, especially those in the border towns.
