Billionaire Politician, Ned Nwoko Breaks Silence On Reported EFCC Arrest

Billionaire businessman and politician, Ned Nwoko has denied being arrested by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

This is coming after an Instagram blogger, alleged that the husband of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels was picked up by security operatives within the week for questioning.

According to the report, the 62-year-old was scared that the news of his arrest would be made public, hence the use of the arrest of popular sex therapist Jaruma to cover up.

The blogger added that the politician is still held at the anti-graft agency and the reason for his arrest was connected to the issues of forcefully taking lands and plantations from people in Ogwashi-Ukwu, Delta State.

The post reads: “Hmm Una know wetin dey sup?

“So from a 100% confirmed source, EFCC picked up Pa Ned on either Tuesday or Wednesday for questioning.

“Oga was scared it will come out. So he used Mamalawo’s arrest to cover up. Omo, Pa Ned is currently on EFCC’s radar, confirmed! “He is being investigated for some issues. Trust me to get you full details soon.”

Speaking to Naija News about the reports of his arrest, the 62-year old businessman however urged the public to discard  such a baseless information as it is untrue and damaging.

He further noted that the only person who was arrested and remanded in prison  is sex therapist, Jaruma.

He clarified that he has neither been arrested or invited to  EFCC custody.
