2023: Orji Kalu Meets Senator Musa In Abuja

Presidential aspirant, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has paid a visit to one of the leading candidates for the All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairmanship seat, Senator Sani Musa.

The former governor of Abia State and Senate Chief Whip visited the lawmaker representing Niger East Senatorial District in the National Assembly at his Maitama residence in Abuja on Sunday.

Kalu while speaking at the lawmaker’s residence said he came to see Senator Musa who returned last week from a medical trip abroad and to wish him a quick recovery.

Speaking during the meeting, Kalu informed Musa of his ambition to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023 if the position is zoned to the South by the ruling APC.

Kalu praised Senator Musa for his plan to improve the fortunes of the APC and in his pursuance of ways to move the ruling party to electoral victories in all elections.

The Senate Chief Whip also described the APC chairmanship aspirant as a positive and very purposeful personality who has the zeal and passion to lead the party to victory in 2023.

In his remarks, Senator Musa who thanked Senator Kalu for the visit prayed for continued good and sound health for everyone in their various pursuit towards the growth and development of the party and Nigeria as a country.

Senator Sani Musa expressed appreciation to the Senate Chief Whip for his humility and responsiveness.

Naija News reports that Kalu’s visit to Musa comes days after the APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited the Niger East Senator in his residence.

Speaking at the lawmaker’s residence, Tinubu said he came to see Senator Musa who returned last week from a medical trip abroad and to wish him a quick recovery.

The former Lagos governor assured Musa that his contribution to the success of the party in 2015 would be rewarded and will not be forgotten.

Tinubu told the lawmaker that the sacrifices he made to the party will not go in vain, saying that the party leadership is fully aware.

He described Musa as a qualified National Chairmanship aspirant with a blueprint for a new vision of the party in a new direction for electoral victory.
