Presidential hopeful, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has paid a visit to one of the leading candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairmanship, Senator Sani Musa.

The APC National leader visited the lawmaker representing Niger East Senatorial District in the National Assembly at his Maitama residence in Abuja on Saturday.

Speaking at the lawmaker’s residence, Tinubu said he came to see Senator Musa who returned last week from a medical trip abroad and to wish him a quick recovery.

The former Lagos governor assured Musa that his contribution to the success of the party in 2015 would be rewarded and will not be forgotten.

Tinubu told the lawmaker that the sacrifices he made to the party will not go in vain, saying that the party leadership is fully aware.

He described Musa as a qualified National Chairmanship aspirant with a blueprint for a new vision of the party in a new direction for electoral victory.

He said, “The sacrifices of distinguished Senator Mohammed Sani Musa in 2014/2015 will not go in vain, The leadership of the ruling party is fully aware. Insha Allah, he will be rewarded.

On his part, Senator Sani Musa thanked the APC National Leader for the visit, saying that he is feeling very well after returning from a medical trip.

He prayed that God will continue to keep the former governor in sound and good health in his continued service to humanity and the country at large.

Recall that Musa declared interest in becoming the National Chairman of the ruling APC in 2021, saying that he has the leadership ability to address issues currently confronting the ruling party.

Musa stressed that if given the opportunity, he will revive the party, bring together all warring factions and position the party to achieve electoral and political outcomes.

The politician said he is confident that he is the best candidate to lead the party to achieve its desired objectives.
