Tinubu Govt Knows Those Behind Killing Of Security Operatives In Imo - IPOB

Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Tuesday clashed with security operatives at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

The IPOB members clashed with the security operatives when the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, was being brought into court with the supporters chanting, “Holy Holy Holy, Nnamdi Kanu is another saviour”.

Some journalists who arrived at the court to cover the proceedings were also barred by DSS operatives and policemen from accessing the courtroom, while lawyers were accredited before being allowed into the court.

Meanwhile, Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja, has adjourned the case of Nnamdi Kanu.

Naija News reports that the case was adjourned till tomorrow, Wednesday, to enable Nnamdi Kanu to take his plea.

The court also directed Kanu to meet with his lawyers inside the courtroom for some minutes before going back to DSS custody.

The President Muhammadu Buhari-led government had amended the charges which was initially a seven-count treasonable felony charge to a 15-count amended charge marked FHC/ABJ/CR/383/2015.

The IPOB leader was represented today by a legal team that includes, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), Ifeanyi Ejiofor, Aloy Ejimakor and Maxwell Opara among others.
