‘Biafrans Will Smile, Just A Question Of Time’ Rita Edochie Reacts To Video Of Nnamdi Kanu In Court

Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie has reacted to a viral video of the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu in court, today. 

Naija News earlier reported that Kanu arrived in court wearing a white designer outfit and then went ahead to exchange pleasantries with his legal team and some other supporters in court.

The IPOB leader who was facing a seven-count treasonable felony charge, will now enter his fresh plea to a 15-count amended charge marked FHC/ABJ/CR/383/2015, and signed by the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP, M. B. Abubakar.

Recall, the Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government filed fresh terrorism allegations against the detained IPOB leader.

The government increased the counts in the initial charge it preferred against Nnamdi Kanu ahead of the resumed trial on Tuesday (today).

In a post shared on her Instagram page, Rita, who has never hidden her support for the secessionist group, reacted to the video of the IPOB leader in court today for his trial.

Sharing a video of the IPOB leader in court, the actress noted that Biafrans would have a reason to smile very soon, adding that it was just a question of time.

She wrote; ‘‘BIAFRANS WILL SMILE AT LAST, IT IS A QUESTION OF TIME”
