Man Cries Out After Loan App Publicly Announces His Obituary Over Unpaid Debt

A Nigerian man identified as Azuwuike Chinedu has cried out on social media after a loan app publicized his obituary over unpaid debt.

According to Azuwuike via Facebook, a loan app had published his obituary after he defaulted on paying back his debt.

After futile efforts to get the loaned money back, the loan app announced his obituary.

Sharing the shocking photo, Azuwuike wrote; ‘Please imagine what this stupid loan app did, what a childish act and a very stupid. How can a loan app do this to me? Just because of 5 days overdue days? I swear with my life.. if i pay them, let thus obituary be real’

Meanwhile, a man, identified as Saidu Faskari, a resident of Katsina state, has removed his house roofing sheet to sell in order to raise money for his elder son who was abducted by bandits.

Ibrahim Bawa, a local journalist with posted a video clip and photos of the man removing his roofing sheet to raise money.

Ibrahim Bawa in his tweet, noted that the elderly man’s son was kidnapped in December and held captive for 13 days.

Unable to raise the one hundred thousand naira sum, Malam Saidu decided to remove the roof of his house, so as to raise the money.

Sharing photos and videos, Ibrahim Bawa wrote; “This is Malam Sa’idu, a resident of Faskari LG in Katsina State. He’s removing his house roofing sheets to sell on his effort to gather N100,000 & pay his son ransom. His son was under bandits captivity days ago.
