Nollywood actor, Imeh Bishop, popularly known as Okon Lagos, has vowed never to allow his kids attend a boarding school following the dramatic twist of the late Dowen student’s trial, Sylvester Oromoni, who died under controversial circumstances.

Naija News reports that Oromoni died on November 30, 2021 after he was allegedly assaulted and given a harmful substance to drink by bullies in his school, Dowen college.

Despite an autopsy report suggesting foul play in the death of the 12-year-old, the Nigeria Police Force released the school’s House Master and other students arrested in connection with the alleged murder.

Reacting to the dramatic twist of event, Okon vowed never to allow his kids in a boarding school, adding that the twist of events are still very fresh in his memory.

“I have never boarded in a hostel in secondary school. The only time i did, i was in my SS3. With the death of Sylvester and the post death dramatic twist of events very fresh in memory, i will not allow my kids in a boarding school.

“If i may, then it will be if and only if life and health security is hugely guaranteed. Even at that, i’m still very doubtful.’

The comic actor made the statement on Tuesday via his Instagram page.
