2023 Presidency: ACF Reveals The Type Of Candidate It Will Support To Succeed Buhari

Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has expressed happiness over the killing of two bandits kingpins in Zamfara State, Alhaji Auta and Kachalla Ruga.

Naija News recalls that the two bandit leaders were killed by the Nigeria Air Force (NAF) during an air raid on bandit camps at Gusami forest in Zamfara and another forest in Sokoto State.

Other notorious bandits like Alhaji Nashama, Shingi and Halilu and their members were reportedly injured during the military bombardment.

ACF, in a statement on Monday by its National Chairman, Audu Ogbeh, commended the military over the onslaught on the bandits and their followers over the weekend.

Ogbeh admonished the military to continue the bombardment of the bandits’ hideouts until the criminals surrender to authorities or are wiped out.

The former Minister of Agriculture advised the troops to be focused and ensure that the fight against insurgency and banditry is won.

He said, “The Arewa Consultative Forum would like to commend the Nigerian military, particularly the Nigerian Air Force for raids it carried out recently against terrorist elements.

“Last weekend, for instance, the Air Force carried out an offensive which led to the deaths of two notorious bandit leaders, Alhaji Auta and Kachalla Luga, in Zamfara. Many of their followers were also killed in the operation codenamed Hadarin Daji.

“We urge the Air Force and all our gallant fighters to maintain the current onslaught until the terrorists surrender. It is only when such tempo is maintained that the leadership can be assured of the morale of our fighting men.

“We assure our fighting men that victory is in sight and they should not despair.”
