Former Senate President Joseph Wayas’s Wife Dies 12 Days After His Death

The wife of the late former Senate President, Joseph Wayas, Mary Abiola is dead.

The son of the former Senate President, Joseph Wayas Jnr, disclosed that his mother died in a UK hospital 12 days after the death of her husband.

The trained secretary who died after a brief illness is survived by 5 children, grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Mary who worked with several prestigious firms in Russell Square, London, supported her husband, who was then a student in the UK.

Recall that the former Senate President in the Second Republic died on November 30th, 2021.

Wayas who became the Senate President of Nigeria in 1979 and left office in 1983 died in a hospital in London.
