Reacting to the development via Instagram, Daddy Freeze commended those who rendered assistant and ensuring the evacuating of good and other valuables to safer place.

He said: “I’m glad this was not one those looting incident. Rather a rescue operation done by good citizens.

“Don’t blame those who thought it was looting, though, many of us have witnessed way too many looting incidents in Nigeria.

“Sadly, the Shoprite at Jakande still lies in ruins, over a year after it was looted during the aftermath of the End SARS protest.

Big shout out to the good and concerned citizens that made this happen.”
