The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has released royal blessings for the Christmas and new year season and celebrations.

This is coming amidst the divorce saga involving the foremost monarch and Queen Silekunola Naomi.

Naija News recalls Olori Naomi in a statement on her Instagram page on Thursday, announced an end to the three-year marriage to the Ooni which she claimed was due to irreconcilable differences and not based on the decision of the monarch to marry another queen.

The evangelist disclosed that she tried to make the marriage work but said the monarch’s public identity is clashing with his true self.

However, the palace of Ooni of Ife in a reaction to the separation of Queen Silekunola Naomi from Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II during an interview with the Punch, Ooni’s spokesman, Moses Olafare, claimed that the social media pages of the Queen were possibly hacked and a probe of the alleged hack is being carried out.

Olafare stated that the royal couple is still together, adding that separation in marriage cannot be done by one of the parties.

However, away from the divorce saga, the Ooni has now charged Nigerians to always look out for their neighbours particularly those who may be going through hard times.

The Monarch in a statement on Saturday through his Facebook page wished everyone peace, joy, and love in the yuletide season.

He wrote: “I join all and sundry in the joyous occasion of this particular season. As we all know it’s one of joy, celebrations, and a deep reflection on what Olódùmarè has done through the year.
