BREAKING: Seven Worshippers Killed As Bandits Attack Kaduna Mosque

Bandit terrorists have released a medical doctor who was kidnapped in Adamawa State on Monday, December 13.

Naija News reports that Dr Saidu Bala, owner of a private hospital in the Ngurore community in Yola, was whisked away while attending to patients.

The gunmen also fired shots to scare away people and security operatives in the area.

A few days after his kidnap, the gunmen contacted the family and demanded an undisclosed ransom for his release.

According to family members who spoke to SaharaReporters, the medical expert was released on Friday evening.

They, however, refused to disclose if any ransom was paid for the doctor’s release.

In other news, three children have been burnt to death during a fire incident in Benue.

The incident occurred at Otukpo, Benue in the living quarters of the victim, Ochoche Ode at Jesus College Quarters, around 1:00am on Friday, December 17.

According to Ode, his sister-in-law noticed the fire when she perceived a burning smell. She immediately alerted him and his wife.

They realized their children’s room was on fire. Unfortunately, the situation was already out of control and all three children died.

He said: “As I was about to find out what was happening, the fire escalated, covering the whole room where my kids were sleeping and in an attempt to force myself into the room to rescue the children, my face got badly burnt. All attempts by neighbours to quell the fire failed and all my three children were burnt to death.”
