National Diploma Holder Who Jumped Into Lagoon Confirmed Dead By Family

Family of the National Diploma Certificate holder who jumped into the Lagos Lagoon to end his life has been confirmed dead.

Recall that Naija News earlier reported that the man identified as Lekan Odunare who was captured in a video sitting on the rails of the bridge before he jumped in was questioned on why he was taking such a drastic decision to end his life but he remained quiet.

A member of the grieving family who has demanded to remain anonymous revealed to Punch on Thursday that the body of the deceased had been found.

However, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Adekunle Ajisebutu, has said that he is yet to confirm the incident.

An official of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency has also maintained that no update has been received concerning the incident.

Meanwhile, the female soldier who was recently proposed to by a corps member in Kwara State National Youth Service Corps orientation camp has been reportedly detained by the Nigerian Army.

Naija News had earlier reported that a corps member, after NYSC three weeks of orientation exercise in the Kwara State, took his love life to the next level as he proposed to a soldier in the camp.

The corps member in a video went on his knees as he inserted the ring into the finger of the female soldier amid cheers of fellow corps members.
