BREAKING: Seven Worshippers Killed As Bandits Attack Kaduna Mosque

Five persons have been kidnapped by bandit terrorists during an attack on two villages in Dutsen Abba, Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

It was learned that the terrorists, who invaded the first settlement, Dallatu village in the early hours of Wednesday, abducted two people and looted properties.

The criminals then moved to Kasuwar Da’a village where they abducted six people including three children and women.

Speaking with Daily Trust, residents of the area said the terrorists released the kidnapped children on Wednesday morning leaving five people in captivity.

As of the time of filing this report, Kaduna State Police Command is yet to make a statement regarding the attack on the two villages.

Meanwhile, following the killing of 23 travellers in Sokoto State, Governor Aminu Tambuwal has asked security operatives to treat bandits like Boko Haram terrorists.

Tambuwal, who expressed sadness over the killings, stated that the bandits attack and kill at random irrespective of political differences.

The PDP governor made this on Tuesday when he received a delegation of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) led by its Chairman and Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi.

According to Tambuwal, bandits do not have any ideological or tribal pursuit, describing the criminals as enemies of humanity.

He, however, asked Nigerians to support President Buhari at all levels in curtailing the activities of bandits and terrorists in the country and appreciated his colleagues for the visit.
