‘Broke’ Alexx Ekubo Reacts After Linda Osifo Gifts Him ₦100,000

Popular Nigerian actor and model, Alexx Ekubo, has reacted after getting a gift of ₦100,000 from his colleague, Linda Osifo.

Naija News reports that the Port Harcourt-born actor took to his Instagram page on Sunday evening to post a screenshot of the credit alert he received from his female colleague.

According to Ekubo, he ran into Osifo on Saturday night at an event where she asked how he was faring and he told her he was broke.

The actor, however, said he was left in awe after he received a credit alert on Sunday from the actress. Commending Osifo’s gesture of love towards him, the actor said he was only joking when he said he was broke.

Ekubo pledged to give out the money to some citizens online who the money will really be useful for.

He wrote, “So I ran into @lindaosifo at an event last night, she asked how I was & I said I was broke, & she laughed & said sent me your account deets, I jokingly did & boom today she sent me this. 

“I’m deeply touched for many reasons. She really didn’t have to, I Love you soo much Linda, & for this & more, I gat you for life.

“Please I want to give this to someone who really needs it, please comment on your account number the 100k is all yours.”

Meanwhile, a former housemate in the Big Brother Naija reality tv show, Florence Wathoni Anyansi, has revealed how she lost an endorsement deal.

Naija News reports that Wathoni who took to her Twitter account disclosed that the brand withdrew the endorsement because she wasn’t controversial.

The reality star used the opportunity to advise her colleagues to continue being themselves as long as it put food on their table.

She wrote, “Was going to sign another endorsement before the year ends but they withdrew because I am not ‘controversial’. Omooo my colleagues, do you all the way if it brings food on the table.”
