Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ajagungbade Is Dead

The Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Oladunni Oyewumi, Ajagungbade III, has died at 95-year-old.

According to The PUNCH, the popular traditional ruler died on Sunday morning (today).

He said, “It is true that Baba has passed on. It happened this morning but it has not been announced officially.

“He lived a good life and left many good legacies. The palace will soon announce it.”

Meanwhile, the family of the owner of Hilton Hotel, Ile-Ife, Osun State, has insisted that Chief Ramon Adedoyin is not a ritualist.

Naija News reports that the popular businessman was fingered in the death of a Master’s student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Mr. Timothy Adegoke.

Chief Adedoyin, who is currently in police custody, has maintained his innocence in the controversial issue.

In a statement to newsmen, the family’s lawyer, Abiodun Williams, warned social media users against insulting the hotelier, stressing that stories should be verified by bloggers.
