Pathetic! Aisha Lambaste Bishop Oyedepo, MURIC

Co-convener of the #BringBackOurGirls movement, Aisha Yesufu, has slammed Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church over his recent comment on President Muhammadu Buhari.

Recall that Oyedepo had described the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration as the worst in Nigeria’s history, claiming that he warned Nigerians against voting the present government.

The popular cleric added that he is less bothered about the current state of the nation, stressing that he no longer worries about Nigeria’s insecurity and economic challenges.

Reacting in a post on Twitter, Aisha Yesufu wondered why Oyedepo failed to find his voice during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

She accused the clergyman of being silent during the abduction of Chibok schoolgirls.

Aisha Yesufu wrote: “Where was your voice when #ChibokGirls were abducted? They weren’t Christian enough because a Christian was President?

“Where was your voice when citizens were being killed? You even said we will go to hellfire if we do not vote GEJ. You and that MURIC man are the same! Pathetic!”

Meanwhile, Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has berated the state of the nation under the All Progressive Congress, APC, government led by President Buhari.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP governor said no citizen is happy there is a country called Nigeria due to the fact that the nation’s security and economic status is becoming progressively worse than ever.

Naija News reports that Governor Ortom made the statement on Friday, December 10, during the swearing-in of the new National Working Committee of the PDP led by its Chairman, Dr Iyorchia Ayu and other members of the National Working Committee, NWC.

The North-Central State governor appealed to Nigerians to work together for the restoration of the country’s glory.

Ortom urged all citizens of the country to put partisan politics, religion and ethnic sentiments aside and team up with the PDP for the rescue of the nation.

The Governor stated that due to the abysmal performance of the APC, the economy of the country has been completely ruined with millions of Nigerians without jobs, while the country is going through the worst security challenges.
