Seun Kuti Reacts To The Pope’s Statement On Sex Outside Marriage

Nigerian singer Seun Kuti has reacted to the pope’s statement saying sex outside marriage is not the greatest sin.

Recall that Naija News reported that Pope Francis had said that sex outside marriage is not the most serious sin.

The clergyman revealed this in a question and answer session during a flight from Greece to Italy on Monday.

When asked about the Archbishop of Paris Michel Aupetit’s “ambiguous” relationship with a woman, the pope had stated that the sins of the flesh were not the most serious.

Reacting to the proclamation by the pope, the singer has called on wives to forgive their husbands when they cheat on them and husbands should also forgive when the same thing is done to them.

He said: “So wives forgive your husband but more importantly, husbands forgive your wives.”
