Sylvester Oromoni: Dowen College Insists On Football Injury

The Lagos State Police Command has disclosed that no arrest has been made yet concerning the alleged murder of 12-year-old Sylvester Oromoni.

Naija News earlier reported the death of the 12-year-old after he was allegedly beaten up and forced to drink an unknown substance in his boarding school, Dowen college.

While the school has been shut down, Nigerians have called for justice in response to the gruesome death of Sylvester.

However, the spokesperson of the state police command, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, informed Daily Sun that no arrest has been made.

He revealed that a letter of invitation would be sent to the school management today December 6.

He said: “For now, and to the best of my knowledge, no arrest has been made, but investigation is ongoing.”

Meanwhile, a Nigerian father has shared a letter he wrote to his son’s school before withdrawing him for being bullied.

The man identified as Mike Ekunno posted a letter on Instagram he wrote in 2018 to the Federal Government College, Abuja after constant bullying within the school premises.

Ekunno said he had to withdraw his son from the school without writing his third term exams so the boy could stay alive. Read more
