Residents of Unguwan Gimbiya village in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State have suffered a major attack at the hands of bandit terrorists.

Naija News reports that the bandits, who have been tagged as terrorists, stormed the village in Sabo, the outskirts of the state on bikes in the early hours of Friday.

During the invasion, the criminals killed two residents and kidnapped over fifty others.

According to a resident of the area, the terrorists invaded thirteen homes and robbed them of their valuable belongings.

He, however, revealed that the attack lasted for about 2 hours with heavy gunshots renting the air.

The bandits struck in the early hours of today ( Friday), invaded Ungwan Gimbiya Community of Sabo in Chikun local govt area of Kaduna state and abducted over 50 people and killed two.”

“A total number of 13 families were visited by the bandits. The attack lasted for about 2 hours with heavy gunshots,” the source told Vanguard.

Following the deadly attack, it was learned that residents of the village have started leaving for a safer place and security agents were seen patrolling in neighbouring forests.
