A fake lawyer identified as Stanley Ejirogene who has been practicing for over 10 years was arrested by security operatives in Port Harcourt.

Naija News reports that Stanley was remanded in prison custody by a High Court.

The suspect who has been practicing for over 10 years, was exposed in court on Wednesday, December 1, during cross-examination, when he could not tell the court the University and law school he attended. Naija News learnt

According to reports, Justice, C. Nwogu remanded the defendant at the request of the Port Harcourt NBA Chairman, Prince Nyekwere, pending the result of their investigation.

Nyekwere in a chat with journalists after the incident said, they were notified by the Supreme Court that they do not have his name, as a lawyer. His name was also not on the database of the Nigeria Bar Association.

In other news, students of the Lagos State have pledged to join Babajide Sanwo-Olu on the Walk of Peace proposed by the State governor.

Recall that Sanwo-Olu had in a press conference on Tuesday invited some youths in the state to join him in the “historic march for our dear Lagos.”

Those invited are Folarin Falana (Falz), Debo Adebayo (Mr Marcaroni), Dele Farotimi, Temitope Majekodunmi, Segun Awosanya (Segalink), Adedotun (Just Detoun), Seun Kuti, Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu and Commander of Rapid Response Squad (RRS), CSP Yinka Egbeyemi and others.

Some of the activists invited by the governor had, however, rejected the invitation stating their different reasons.

However, President of the Student Union Government, LASU, Comrade Oladipupo Uthman Badmus on Thursday, pledged on behalf of his fellow students to support the governor in the walk.

Naija News understands that the SUG president showed interest in the walk when the Governor visited the school on earlier today.
