Man Utd Manager, Rangnick Appoints New Coach, Psychologist

Manchester United has reportedly reached an agreement with German tactician Ralf Rangnick, a former RB Leipzig head coach, to become interim manager until the end of the season.

Naija News understands that the 63-year-old agreed to a six-month deal with Man United.

The former RB Leipzig manager is expected to be in the Red Devil’s dugout until the end of the 2021/22 season, when he will have a further two years in a consultancy role.

With the new deal, Ralf will leave his position as head of sports and development at Lokomotiv Moscow.

The agreement is subject to Lokomotiv agreeing to release him from his contract.

According to The Athletic, the German would not be on the bench when Manchester United take on Chelsea in the Premier League due to work permit issue.

Man United, however, are still on the look out for a permanent manager to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

United are currently eighth in the Premier League after losing four of their past five matches, 12 points behind leaders Chelsea and six points adrift of fourth-placed West Ham.
