Nollywood Actress Asks God For Help As Egg Turns N90

Nollywood actress Uche Elendu has cried out to God for help after discovering that egg is now 90 naira per one.

The actress took to her Instagram account to state that she was afraid of the effect of inflation of prices on the masses and begged God not to allow hunger and starvation to ravage Nigeria.

Uche Elendu is not the only celebrity who has complained about the inflation in the price of foodstuffs as interior designer, Ehi Ogbebor stated a few weeks back that when she received the price list of foodstuffs from her domestic staff she was quite shocked.

Meanwhile, Grammy award-winning artist, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy has been nominated for the 2022 Grammys.

Burna Boy, a two-time nominee, and winner was nominated alongside, Wizkid, Femi Kuti, and, Made Kuti.

The Recording Academy revealed the nominations for the 2022 Grammy Awards in a live stream on Tuesday.

Naija News recalls that Burna Boy won the Best Global Music Album category for his album, Twice As Tall.

His album African Giant, released in 2019, was the game-changer that shot him into the limelight worldwide by getting him his first Grammy nomination, a victory at the MTV Europe Music Awards, and more than anything: a special mention in Barack Obama’s playlist.
