Abroad-Based Nigerian Shows Off Bottle Of Wine He Got From His Lecturer

A Nigerian man who’s doing his Master’s programme in France has revealed the unusual gift his lecturer gifted his team after a presentation in class.

The MSc student identified as Omokehinde took to the microblogging platform, Twitter to reveal that his class team gave an impressive performance and to encourage them, the lecturer gifted the students a large bottle of wine.

According to Kehinde, via Twitter post, the bottle of alcoholic wine they received is in six litres.

He shared photos from the official presentation of the drink and one of the images has him showing off the wine.

Omokehinde captioned; ”Won a gift for our team’s presentation last week. And our lecturer presented us a 6 liters of wine beer”

Meanwhile, two Ireland-based Nigerians, Oluwagbewikeke Lewis, 35 and Bashiru Aderibigbe 45 have pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit money laundering between April -December 2020 and to 11 counts of possession of forged passports, forged bank statements, and stolen UK passports.

According to reports, Oluwagbewikeke and Bashiru had stolen PPS numbers belonging to 74 HSE and Tusla employees in false Pandemic Unemployment Payments (PUP) from the Department of Social Protection.

Trouble started after the detective seconded to the Department of Social Protection, Trevor Conroy spotted several applications for PUP under different PPS numbers with a variation of the same email address during a search in July 2020.

Keeshan revealed that they discovered that the PPS numbers were used to open false accounts with several banking institutions in the country.

According to Cork Beo, both suspects, detectives said, regularly communicated about their criminal activities on WhatsApp and “reported to persons involved in international crime only known as the ‘Chairman and Ebony.’
