Miyetti Allah Takes Position On 2023 Presidency Zoning, Tells Buhari To Declare Bandits As Terrorists

The Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore has taken a position on the zoning of the 2023 presidential ticket.

According to it, zoning is not a democratic process and should not be a factor in deciding the person who takes over from President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

The Bauchi State Chapter of the group made the submission on Sunday through its chairman, Alhaji Sadik Ibrahim Ahmad.

Also, the group urged the federal government to heed calls from several quarters and declare bandits as terrorists, noting that declaring the bandits as terrorists is the right thing for the government to do in order to curb the ugly trend of insecurity.

Speaking in a chat with the Nation, Ahmad said: “Whether you’re Yoruba, Hausa or Igbo, once you are competent, you should be qualified enough to lead the country. The issue of zoning cannot be and will never be a democratic process.

”People should go for leaders with integrity If we want to unite ourselves. Our leaders are the ones creating problems, confusion, and regional crises among us.”

He added on the issue of bandits that the federal government needs to do the needful and declare them as terrorists before things go worse.

”As far as I am concerned, the nail must be hit on the head, who are the terrorists? Terrorists are people who try to destroy legitimate activities of society, they are not productive if the FG is serious, they should do the needful and provide a lasting solution to incessant killings by the so-called bandits,” he argued.

Naija News recalls that in recent times, the Senate, House of Representatives, Speakers of the State House of Assemblies as well as many other persons and groups have all called on the government to declare bandits as terrorists.
