Anambra Election: APC's Andy Uba Votes, Expresses Confidence In Winning Poll

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the ongoing Anambra governorship election, Senator Andy Uba, has cast his vote.

Naija News reports that the APC candidate arrived at his Ward 16, Polling Unit 17 in Uga, Aguata Local Government Area at 11:18 am.

Speaking to reporters after voting, Uba expressed confidence in winning the election, adding the people of Anambra are fed with the Wille Obiano government.

According to Uba, the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has lost the support of the people, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) does not exist in the state.

He said: “INEC’s arrangement is transparent and orderly. Things are going smoothly; we are going to win this election.

“The security, everything is in order. By the end of everything, APC will be number one.”

Meanwhile, the APC candidate has won his polling unit in the ongoing Anambra governorship election.

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Andy Uba, has won his polling unit in the ongoing Anambra governorship election.

INEC officials, who announced the results on Saturday, said Uba had 80 votes, while the flagbearer of the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chukwuma Soludo,  scored 10 votes.

The candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), Ifeanyi Uba, polled five votes, while Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got two votes.
