The son of the Director-General of the Department of State Service (DSS), Abba Yusuf Bichi, has reacted to the arrest of the Chairman of Cubana Group, Obinna Iyiegbu, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Naija News earlier reported that the EFCC arrested the businessman and socialite, popularly known as Obi Cubana, on Monday, over alleged money laundering and tax fraud.

Obi Cubana is said to have arrived at the office of the anti-graft agency in Abuja on Monday afternoon, but was detained for interrogation by operatives of the commission.

Reacting to the arrest of the 46-year-old Anambra-born socialite, Abba Bichi described Obi Cubana as  “a man of honour and dignity.”
