Davido Reacts To Obi Cubana’s Arrest In Igbo

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke better known as Davido has hailed billionaire businessman Obi Cubana in Igbo hours after he was reportedly arrested by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC).

Naija News reports that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission arrested billionaire businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as  Obi Cubana, on Monday.

It was gathered that Obi Cubana arrived at the office of the commission in Abuja on Monday afternoon and was questioned by operatives of the anti-graft agency. 

According to reports, his case borders on alleged money laundering and tax fraud.

Reacting to the arrest, the award-winning singer via his Instagram stories hailed the billionaire businessman in Igbo language.

Sharing a photo of Obi Cubana on his story, Davido wrote; ‘Obi Nwere Ego’

Recall that  the Nigerian singer, Davido was amongst top celebrities who graced the lavish burial of Obi Cubana’s mother that  trending on social media for weeks.

The burial was undoubtedly the biggest event in Nigeria, due to its many socialites, business icons, politicians, top government functionaries and politicians who gather at Oba in Anambra state to support the businessman.
