2023: Oyinlola Tipped To Be PDP Campaign Council DG

A former governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has said he’s optimistic the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is in good hands considering the success of the party’s national convention in Abuja.

Naija News reports that PDP’s national convention was held on Saturday in Abuja where the nation’s opposition party elected its new National Working Committee.

Oyinlola who had lost the position of the Deputy National Chairman of the party to a former deputy governor of Oyo State, Ambassador Taofik Arapaja, promised to continually give the party his maximum supports.

The politician felicitated with the party and all the newly elected national officers of the party.

Prince Oyinlola in a statement made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Sunday said he had earlier congratulated Arapaja in a private message on his victory and wished him a successful tenure.

He stressed that the newly-elected PDP Deputy National Chairman South acknowledged his message with appreciation.

Speaking further on the new PDP leaders, while describing the success of the national convention of the party as a good omen for Nigeria and Nigerians, Oyinlola said he was confident the party was in very good hands and will take the party to greater heights.

The former governor expressed his vote of thanks to the founding fathers, all party leaders and his supporters across the country for the strength of their support for him and the love which they radiated around him throughout the contest.

Oyinlola lauded his colleagues in the PDP Governors Forum for holding the forte of the party while promising that he would continue to play his role as a leader and strengthen his support for the PDP and its organs.
