Two teachers of Community High School, Ijoun, Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, have been brutalized by armed hoodlums during an invasion.

Naija News reports that the teachers brutalized by the hoodlums were identified as Stephen Oyelekan and Kayode Olatunji.

It was learned that the hoodlums, who were reportedly hired by some students, invaded the school on Monday morning and caused panic among teachers and students.

The hoodlums who came with machetes and axes to the school premises were hired by some students to inflict varying degrees of injury on the teachers.

A source told The PUNCH that the incident was reported at the Eegua Police Station and at the monarch’s palace while the victims had been taken to the hospital for treatment.

He said: “The attackers invaded the school at about 10.45am on Monday and freely used weapons such as machetes and axes on Messers Stephen Oyelekan and Kayode Olatunji, before fleeing.

“The principals of Junior and Senior Secondary Schools, Mr. Sowunmi and Kayode Amusa respectively, were said to have informed the Adele of Ijoun Community, Chief Olaleye Emmanuel, and the head of the Amotekun in the community.”
