Multi-talented Rapper and actor, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, and Comedian Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, on Wednesday joined protesters to mark the #EndSARSMemorial.

Naija News reports that the duo joined the car procession at Lekki tollgate in Lagos.

This is despite a ban on protests in Lagos and the heavy presence of armed police personnel at the venue.

Speaking to newsmen, Mr Macaroni, who was in a Lexus SUV, said Nigeria must listen to the demands of youths and embrace good governance.

On his part, Falz, who also drove himself, said Nigerians must learn to stand up for their rights

The celebrities and other activities who turned up at the tollgate with their cars were seen waving Nigerian flags from inside the vehicles.

The protesters were also honking the horns while singing solidarity songs.

Naija News reports that today marks a year Nigerian forces opened fire on peaceful #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki toll gate in Nigeria’s commercial city, Lagos.

The EndSARS protest is understood to be a decentralized social movement and series of mass protests against police brutality and bad governance in Nigeria.

The youths have maintained their energy to remember those murdered in last year demonstration as they remember those who lost their lives while asking for change and the end of police brutality in Nigeria.
