Details Of Buhari's Discussion With President Erdogan Emerges

Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a closed-door meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Turkey.

In a statement on Wednesday by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, both leaders are meeting inside the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

He added that Nigeria considers Turkey a close partner and sees this visit as a milestone in their bilateral and diplomatic relations.

Naija News reported that the Turkish president accompanied by the First Lady, Emine Erdogan, arrived in the nation’s capital city on Tuesday evening.

Both leaders are expected to hold bilateral meetings and consider about 24 Bilateral Agreements and Memoranda of Understanding, MOUs.

Buhari and Erdogan are also expected to authorize the signing of those on which there is concurrence.

While in the country, the Turkish president is expected to commission the Turkish Cultural Centre in Abuja while his wife, Emine, accompanied by the First Lady, Aisha Buhari is expected to commission the newly-renovated Government Secondary School in Wuse 11.
