Kaduna: El-Rufai Gives 28-Year-Old New Appointment

Council Of Ulamas 'Reveal' Those Behind The Non-Confirmation Of El-Rufai For Ministerial Appointment

Governor Nasir el-Rufai has appointed a 28-year-old as the executive secretary of Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency(KADIPA).

Khali Nur Khali who is a graduate of the Eastern Mediterranean University(EMU), Cyprus, was formerly the investment intelligence director of KADIPA before assuming his new role as the executive secretary. Khali is also the youngest in the organization to be given the role.

Special adviser to el-Rufai on media, Muyiwa Adekeye also announced other changes in the governor’s cabinet which included the following names listed below.

Jaafaru Sani, Thomas Gyang, Halima Lawal, Ibrahim Hussaini, Shehu Usman Muhammad, Muhammad Sani Abdullahi, Kabir Mato and Idris Nyam were assigned to the ministries of environment, works, education, agriculture, local government, business, innovation and sports respectively.

Balaraba Aliyu-Inuwa was appointed administrator, Zaria Metropolitan Authority; Muhammad Hafiz Bayero as administrator, Kaduna Capital Territory; and Phoebe Sukai Yayi as administrator, Kafanchan Municipal Authority.

Umma Aboki was appointed as permanent secretary, planning and budget commission; Murtala Dabo as executive chairman, Fiscal Responsibility Commission; and Abubakar Hassan as DG, Kaduna State Contributory Health Management Authority (KADCHMA).

Tamar Nandul was appointed MD, Kaduna Markets Development and Management Company; and Maimunatu Abubakar, GM, Kaduna Environmental Protection Agency (KEPA).

However, the changes did not affect the ministries of in the ministries of finance, justice, health, housing and urban development, internal security and home affairs, and human services and social development.
