Why I Got Zero Votes In APC Presidential Primaries - Pastor Bakare

Popular Tele-evangelist, Tunde Bakare has described the 1999 constitution as the problem confronting the country.

Speaking in his state of the station broadcast on Sunday, Bakare stated the constitution needs urgent amendment which will solve parts of the problem facing the nation.

The Serving Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church (CGCG), Lagos, claimed that the 1999 constitution was “a glorified death certificate.”

Bakare asked President Muhammadu Buhari to “tear down this inhibitive constitution” and lead the campaign to change the constitution which he said was imposed on Nigerians by the military.

He reiterated that restructuring of Nigeria and change of the constitution is more pressing than the discussion about a power shift.

The popular clergyman also announced the formation of Nigeria for Nigerians (N4N) Movement to take back Nigeria.

Bakare said the movement has been launched because it is time for Nigerians to take back their nation in 2023.
