The report monitored by Naija News on Daily Post, claimed that the cops were gunned down in Isu while others were lynched in Onicha Igboeze.

The two lawyers involved in the incident were reportedly passing with a vehicle when they ran into the gunmen who operated with a Lexus Jeep.

The gunmen wasted no time in killing them and also burnt the vehicle they operated in and left the scene in the lawyers’ vehicle.

In a statement signed by the Assistant Police Public Relations Officer in the state, ASP Levi Philips, the command revealed the suspects were gunned down at their hideout in Ugwulangwu, in the Onicha Local Government Area of the state.

The operation reportedly follows a tip-off received on which a team of officers acted upon and trailed some of the hoodlums to their hideout.
